SwellMate is a first-of-its-kind digital surf intelligence platform, created to solve a problem the surfing community had lived with for decades.
Despite Australia’s deep surfing culture and the rapid growth of smart technology, there was no single, reliable way to understand real-time surf conditions before heading out. Surfers were forced to rely on scattered sources, second-hand updates, or pure guesswork.
SwellMate was designed to change that reality. By unifying live environmental data, location intelligence, and real user-generated insights into one trusted platform, SwellMate transforms every surf session from a matter of chance into a smarter, more intentional experience.

Across the surfing community, one gap remained unaddressed: there was no platform that combined weather intelligence, real user reports, location-based insights, and social interaction in a single, seamless experience.
